

The cemetery appears on the David Goertz property in the 1902 Plat Map. There may have been earlier Chisholm Trail burials on the site as well. Little is known of the cemetery or of those who were buried there, although it is said to be the original burial place for several Mennonite individuals from the area, associated with the College and with College Church.
